How It All Began
Founded in 2024, Scapes By TERRA emerged from a shared vision to bridge the gap between architectural theory and nature’s raw beauty. Both graduates of the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Hons) program at the University of Moratuwa, Susara Rajapaksha and Pamudi Hettihelage believed that their academic foundation and creative drive should be used to design outdoor spaces that truly breathe.
The practice began with a focus on Residential Landscapes and has evolved into a diverse portfolio of over 25+ completed projects within its first year of field experience. Susara Rajapaksha, the Founder and Principal Designer, is deeply passionate about the spatial and structural soul of a project, while Co-Founder Pamudi Hettihelage serves as the Lead Landscape Architect, bringing an exceptional sense of horticulture and plant life to every design.
With the time, we realized that a great design requires professional execution to truly come to life. Today, Scapes By TERRA has expanded to include a team of skilled laborers who share a commitment to quality, allowing the firm to manage every project from the first sketch to the final planting. We thrive on working closely with our clients and taking on new challenges, driven by a single goal: to make the world a more beautiful place, one space at a time.

Pamudi Hettihelage
CO-FOUNDER & LEAD LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
As a graduate of the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Hons) from the University of Moratuwa, Pamudi brings an exceptional sense of horticulture and plant life to every project. She specializes in creating botanical synergy within our designs, ensuring that every 'livingscape' is ecologically sound, sustainable, and vibrant.
